Applying for DOE opportunities on USAJOBS

DOE offers "One Stop Recruiting." Applicants can complete and submit online application profiles through USAJOBS, the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) application system, which collects general information completed by all applicants. The information you provide and your Federal resume will become part of your application and automatically will be transferred to the DOE's application system when you apply for a specific job opportunity on the DOE's USAJOBS portal.

Privacy Act Statement

Department of Energy (DOE) and other Federal agencies need information about applicants for positions to process their applications. Federal agencies rate applicants for Federal jobs under the authority of sections 1104 , 1302 , 3301 , 3304 , 3320 , 3361 , 3393 , and 3394 of Title 5 of the United States Code. DOE needs the information requested in the online resumŽ and in the associated vacancy announcements to evaluate your qualifications.

DOE requests your Social Security Number (SSN) under the authority of Executive Order 9397 in order to keep your records separate from others who may have the same name or even the same birth date. If you do not provide your SSN or any other information requested DOE cannot process your application.

We collect personally identifiable information (name, email address, Social Security number, or other unique identifier) only if specifically and knowingly provided by you. We only share the information you give us with another government agency if your inquiry relates to that agency, or as otherwise required by law. Moreover, we do not create individual profiles with the information you provide or give it to any private organizations. We do not collect information for commercial marketing.
