How do I find training to put on my IDP?

You have several resources available to you, through which you can locate developmental activities to meet your individual objectives in regards to training.

The primary resource available to you is your organization's Training Consultant, who is available upon request to:

• render assistance in creating your Individual Development Plan;
• help define specific goals and objectives in regard to specific position responsibilities; and
• identify developmental activities to support career advancement

Other sources of information include:

• your immediate supervisor, who may have recommendations based on his/her knowledge of your duties; and
• the ETS Training Schedule, which forcasts courses delivered by ETS up to a year in advance
