How do I create my Individual Development Plan?

Employees create an IDP using Employee Self Service, a web-based application usable by all DOE Federal Employees.

For instructions on how to create an IDP, you can either reference this document, or view the instructions contained within the IDP Section of ESS (Once logged in, go to IDP > Instructions).

If you are having a problem starting your IDP, you can contact your organization's Training Consultant.
