Mission

This division provides Training and Development support to assigned organizations.

Functions

  • Provide Training and other Learning/Development to ensure the Department maintains a highly trained workforce.
  • Make policy recommendations on development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of DOE-wide training.
  • Support assigned DOE Elements in preparing its Annual Training Plan.
  • Perform annual and ad hoc needs assessments.
  • Evaluate DOE and NNSA training instances and programs.
  • Deliver special customer needs.
  • Provide Employee Development Programs.
  • Provide Technical Qualification Program Support.
  • Ensure the continued competency of DOE employees, using several practices and methods, including:
  • Individual Development Plans.
  • Employee Counseling/Consulting.
  • Department/Organizational Needs Assessments.
