Mission
This division provides Training and Development support to assigned organizations.
Functions
- Provide Training and other Learning/Development to ensure the Department maintains a highly trained workforce.
- Make policy recommendations on development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of DOE-wide training.
- Support assigned DOE Elements in preparing its Annual Training Plan.
- Perform annual and ad hoc needs assessments.
- Evaluate DOE and NNSA training instances and programs.
- Deliver special customer needs.
- Provide Employee Development Programs.
- Provide Technical Qualification Program Support.
- Ensure the continued competency of DOE employees, using several practices and methods, including:
- Individual Development Plans.
- Employee Counseling/Consulting.
- Department/Organizational Needs Assessments.
