Mission Statement

The Multi-Sector Workforce Projects Division coordinates the development and implementation of the multi-sector workforce initiative to determine the best mix of public sector and private sector human resources to accomplish the missions of the Department by providing oversight, guidance, and advice in the creation of Department-wide policies, practices, and tools for managing a multi-sector workforce.

Functions

  • Coordinates the multi-sector workforce program for the Department.
  • Coordinates the efforts of responsible organizational elements within the Department regarding the development and implementation of the multi-sector workforce program for the Department.
  • Develops and implements policies and tools for managing a multi-sector workforce.
  • Develop, and implements a department-wide framework to be used for planning and managing a multi-sector workforce using human capital data analysis and planning.
  • Provides analytical and technical support in human capital analysis and planning to organizational elements undertaking program evaluation to make a determination on the best mix of public sector and private sector human resources to accomplish their mission.
  • Serves as the central point of contact with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Office of Personnel and Management (OPM), other Federal agencies, and other Departmental elements in all matters related to multi-sector workforce planning and execution;
